4.  The organs, glands and systems are blue.  The medical terminology, conditions, problems or infections are red, for example:

         Medical doctors separate the body into discrete parts and label each condition or problem, for example asthmaHolistic practitioners, however, view the body as an interdependent whole with each part dependent upon and supporting the other parts.  Therefore, instead of a label such as asthma, a holistic practitioner would say the body has overloaded its major detox organs - the liver and intestines - which are now sending the overflow to the minor detox organs - the lungs, kidneys and skin.  The minor detox organs have become overloaded with the daily onslaught of toxins and are showing symptoms of malfunction, such as low back pain in the kidneys, itching, crusting and rash on the skin, wheezing and difficulty breathing in the lungs and pressure headaches, runny nose and sneezing in the upper respiratory system - the sinuses.

I.    ALLERGIES, ASTHMA, BRONCHITIS, COPD, EMPHYSEMA and OTHER RESPIRATORY SYSTEM ISSUES

A.   Allergies, Asthma, Bronchitis, COPD, Emphysema and Other Respiratory System Issues Usually QRA Test to be a Toxic Overload on the body’s two main detoxification organs - the liver and the intestines (See Anti-Aging heading).

1.    WHEN THE LIVER AND THE INTESTINES ARE OVERWHELMED, the blood moves toxins to the minor detoxification organs - the lungs, kidneys and skin.

A.     When the Lungs take on Toxins, swollen tissue, wheezing, inflammation and difficulty breathing result, often called asthma and allergies.

B.     When the Lungs/the Lower Respiratory System Overflows into the sinus/the upper respiratory system in an effort to expel toxins, the sinuses fill up with fluid, and infection often results.  As the infection progresses, it can spill over into the surrounding tissue.  Runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, pressure headache, fuzzy thinking and pressure and pain in the ears can results.

C.     Toxins from an Overburdened Liver Overflow into the Muscles between the ribs.  The lungs are like two balloons that the diaphragm muscle helps to inflate by contracting.  However, the diaphragm can only inflate the lungs as far as the rib cage will allow.  Toxins in the muscles between and around the ribs make the muscles tight and inflexible.  The result is difficulty in taking in or expelling air.  Toxins compact as the body attempts to keep problems contained.  Compacted toxins often become infected resulting in bronchitis, emphysema or COPD - chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.  When the lungs are limited in the amount of oxygen they can receive, less oxygen is supplied to the rest of the body.  Systemic low oxygen not only promotes fuzzy thinking and mood swings, it lowers the body’s ability to fight disease because all chronic degenerative diseases thrive in low oxygen conditions (See Digestive heading).

D.     The Other Two Minor Detox Organs, the kidneys and the skin, can eventually also fill up because of toxins overflowing from the two main detox organs, the liver and the intestines.  Overburdened kidney usually show up as low back pain and overburdened skin usually shows up as itching, rash or crusting of the skin.

2.    WHEN ALL FIVE DETOX ORGANS ARE FLOODED WITH TOXINS, the adrenals have already stepped in to help fight infection from compacted toxins (See Fatigue heading).

3.    BLOOD LADENED WITH TOXINS CIRCULATES looking for somewhere in the body to store the onslaught of toxins - usually a past trauma or fatty tissue site, including the brain and breast tissue (See Anti-Aging heading).

 

B.   The Two Most “Allergic Foods” are Gluten and Dairy, because they slow down and clog the digestive/gastrointestinal track and lower pH (See Digestive heading).  A lowered pH invites parasites, bacteria and virus, which in turn invites Candida fungal yeast infestation.  Wheat has been “perfected” over the years to contain much more gluten than God ever intended.  My point being that we were never intended to eat altered or processed food.  Wheat bread or pasta in the name of the product is almost always NOT 100% whole grain.  I cannot emphasize too much:  READ INGREDIENT LABELS.  Read Ingredient Labels.  Read ingredient labels!!!  Insist on “100 % whole grain” in the ingredient label.  Craving pasta, bread and other processed flour products is a symptom of Candida fungal overgrowth in the intestines. 

 

C.   Help Yourself

1.    DRINK MORE FLUID to flush toxins out of your body (See the Detox section in the Anti-Aging heading).

A.     START SLOWLY and work up no more than one ounce per day to at least ½ of your weight in fluid over a period of three to six months. 

B.     I have had many clients that are doing mudpacks and taking herbs need as much as ¾ of their weight in fluid to avoid detox symptoms – or you can choose to slow down your healing instead.  If you weigh 150 pounds, ½ your weight is 75 ounces per day of fluid.  Coffee, fruit juice, milk and soda does NOT count.

2.    EAT MORE IRON, which the body needs to manufacture red blood cells that carry oxygen around the body.  Oxygen helps us breathe better.  But more important, all disease requires a low oxygen environment.  pH is how we measure oxygen in the body.  Put a pH strip in a paper cup of your urine first thing in the morning before you eat or drink.  6.2 is the lowest a healthy body should measure.  For every .10 we bring our pH up, we have ten times as much oxygen in our bodies.  This measurement is not valid if we take vinegar by mouth or take magnesium baths.  I have had many clients report that they sleep less and have more energy when they eat more red meat (See Cook heading).  Other foods high in iron in descending order are:

A.     Thyme, a spice, which is lemon flavored.  Sprinkle it on all your food.  Organic spices are much higher in minerals and vitamins.

B.     The next highest in iron is again spices:  basil, spearmint and marjoram.

C.     Canadian cultivated Emi-Tsunomata dried and the spices: cumin seed and parsley.

D.     Beef cooked rare, especially organic liver.  If it is cooked more, the iron content drops more than 1/2.

E.     Pumpkin and squash seeds, cilantro and the spices: dill weed, celery seed, bay leaf, and turmeric.

F.      Lamb, dry powdered unsweetened cocoa (which is constipating).

G.    Spirulina and seaweed and the spices: poultry seasoning, fenugreek seed, tarragon, chervil and curry powder.

H.     Molusks:  shrimp, crab, clams, oysters, mussels, abalone, squid, octopus and scallops.

I.        Pork.  Do not cook pork rare.

3.    TAKE THE CANDIDA YEAST SELF TEST in the Digestive heading.

4.    CRAVING COWS’ MILK products is usually indicative of needing an “oil change”.  Add ¼ teaspoon daily of an animal source of Omega 3s like Nordic Naturals cod liver oil or take one Costco's Fish Oil capsule daily, and eliminate hydrogenated and partially hydrogenate oils.  Only cook in butter, olive oil or coconut oil (See Oils heading).

5.    TAKE AN EXCELLENT DIGESTIVE ENZYME like PRL's Digest when eating dairy products and any cooked food.  Also taking an excellent digest enzyme on an empty stomach cleans the blood, which helps the body to breathe better and rid itself of infection.

6.    TRY SWITCHING TO CHEESE AGED for at least 90 days.  But your digestive system will be much happier if you just cut dairy out of your diet completely or at least cut it way down.  12% of American Caucasians, 75% of African Americans, 90% of Asian Americans, and many O and A blood types cannot digest cows’ milk products - including cheese, sour cream, cream cheese and cottage cheese - but not butter.  Butter is the fat, not the protein, of milk.  Switching to soy milk is not a solution.  80% of the soy in this country is GMO - genetically modified.  If soy is a must, buy organic - which cannot be GMO.  However, I have had clients that ate a lot of soy and hence had hormonal issues that took a few months to balance (See Brain heading).  PRL’s Digest has sufficient lactase to digest even all the lactose cheese that is not aged.

7.    STICKY STOOL is normally an indication of problems digesting gluten products.  Individuals who cannot eat gluten, generally QRA test to have intestinal infections (See Digestive heading).

8.    PESTICIDES AND SYNTHETIC FERTILIZERS can also cause allergy symptoms.  If you are NOT terribly allergic to the food, try a bit of the same food that has been organically grown or QRA tests to be nontoxic.  Check this cautiously!

9.    PEANUT ALLERGY is usually caused by a fungus that grows on legumes.  Peanuts are not a true nut.  Peanuts are a legume that rots and get fungus easily.  Switch to a true nut, like almonds, walnuts or pecans.  Check this cautiously or simply avoid.

 

II.   BUDGET TIGHT?  HELP YOURSELF WITH THESE HEALTH TIPS

A.   The Three Key Requirements of Anti-Aging are eat high quality foods, remove infections and remove toxins (See Anti-Aging heading).  The good news is that individuals with a tight budget can eat high quality foods, remove infections and make good headway in removing toxins on their own - although considerably slower.  The bad news is that quick and easier is almost always expensive - using premium quality herbs.  I have QRA tested herbal products herbal products that either tested toxic or tested toxic to the kidneys and/or liver.  PRL herbs are excellent, but I admit expensive.  You can achieve the same results in two to three times the length of time by using quality food.

 

B.   Eating High Quality Food Means Changing What You Eat and How You Cook, because we are what we eat, but we are actually what we can absorb.  Consider the story of the Three Little Pigs.  The first pig built his house of straw, and it blew away.  Consider the house to be the body and straw to be fast food.  The second little pig’s house of sticks also did not last very long either.  Consider sticks to be boxed and bagged food.  For a house/body to stay in good to excellent condition, it must be built with premium quality bricks/raw or very quickly cooked raw vegetables and animal protein (See the Anti-Aging and Cook headings).

1.    I KNOW THAT CHANGING WHAT YOU EAT AND HOW YOU COOK SOUNDS REALLY HARSH to many people; but take one thing at a time, and you will be less likely to give up.

     A.  Keep track of how you feel.  List your complaints on lined paper. 

     B.  On ANOTHER lined paper that lines up with the complaints, rate each complaint with a number

          - one to ten with ten = this is nearly intolerable and one = this still bothers me a little.  Date this paper, fold it and put it in an envelope.

     C.  Every two months get a NEW piece of paper, line this paper up with the complaints paper and

          rate your complaints again.  Date this paper, fold it and put it in the same envelope. 

     D.  When you consider quitting or think you have not made any progress, pull these numbered papers

          out and compare the numbers.  You should feel much better.

2.    THIS TOPIC IS HEALTH ON A BUDGET - not health as quickly and naturally as possible with money not an object.  Using a tailored-to-you smoothie can make you significantly healthier, but it will take a couple of years or more.  To speed your progress:  (Also see Anti-Aging heading)

A.     Cook with Only Olive Oil, Butter, Lard or Coconut Oil.

B.     Eat Only 100% Whole Grains - or no grains, except whole grain brown rice, you will see greater results.

C.     Drink Half of Your Weight in Ounces of Fluid, not smoothie, milk, coffee, juice or carbonated beverages.  So a 150 pound person would drink 75 ounces of fluid per day.  Build up slowly. 

 

C.   Personalized Raw Food Smoothie

1.    WHY DRINK A SMOOTHIE?

A.   When Intestines Are Compromised by Infection, bacteria, parasites and/or Candida, much of the nutrients just pass thru and do not get absorbed.  Drinking a smoothie presents our intestines with tiny particles of nutrients that are three times easier for our bodies to absorb than chewing raw food well - even with healthy intestines.

B.   The Fastest to Make and Most Healthful Meal available can be as easy as a cup of water, tea or juice (if not diabetic) with a few teaspoons of super food powders or up to fifteen ounces of blended raw fresh vegetables.  Individuals who religiously drink a smoothie report not only great tasting meals, but better focused attention for hours, increased energy, better sleep and better elimination.

C.   A Smoothie Can Be Tailored to an Individual’s Particular Health Issues.  Just zero in on the areas of your body that bothers you the most.  No clue?  It is never wrong to start with the intestines, and slowly add the liver a couple of months later.

D.   Smoothies Are the Cheapest Method to get Healthier.  However, smart and cheap requires patience, because using food in a daily smoothie will NOT BEGIN to have noticeable results for three to six months or more.  Powdered super foods are initially a little more expensive than using fresh food, but an 8 oz. packet can last a two or three months or more.  Super foods work, but if they had the kick of a mule that top quality herbs do, they would only be sold by health care practitioners, because they could then be so easily misused.  Consider that if a food is not strong enough to hurt you significantly if misused, it is not strong enough to help you quickly either.

2.    SUPER FOODS ARE THOSE FOODS THAT ARE THE MOST NUTRITIOUS and/or contain exceptional anti-infective properties.  Navitas has dried and powdered some of these foods for us to make them more readily available and easy to use.  Once opened, keep these Navitas products in the REFRIGERATOR.  Powered organic turmeric in the spice section at Sprouts, Whole Foods and Walmart, Navitas Pomegranate Power, Camu Power, Acai Power, Cacao Nibs, Maca Power, Mulberry Power super foods and Dragon Herbs goji berries are the first choices, because they are the most powerful.  Much of the goodness in food is in the seeds, the stems and the rind, which are included in Navitas super food powders.  Hence, smoothies are much preferred to juicing, because juicing removes fiber, seeds and rind from our diets.

A.     Anti-Infective Super Foods in Descending Order of Power (All mushrooms below are underlined and are best absorbed when lightly cooked or dried and powdered in capsules):  cordyceps, organic powdered turmeric, pomegranate seeds/Pomegranate Power, fresh garlic (One capsule of parsley neutralizes garlic odor.), reishi, ginseng,  PRL Greens (now containing green sea veggies), kale, mixed fresh baby deep dark greens (kale, spinach and chard) at Costco, Sprouts and Whole Foods, asparagus, black sesame seeds, goji berries, wakame, kelp, Cacao Nibs, Camu Power, avocado, raw honey, Acai Power, beets, wood ear, shitake, ginger, coconut, raspberry seeds, agaricus/button mushrooms, echinacea, maitake, muscadine red grapes w/seeds and skin (Do NOT buy grapes unless they are organic or from Costco, Sprouts or Whole Foods.  See the “Dirty Dozen” section in the Anti-Aging heading).

B.     Other Super Foods in Descending Order of Nutrition:  POM pomegranate juice, walnuts, Brazil nuts, Maca Power, PRL Aloe Pro, chard stems, lime, Nutritional Yeast, fava beans, rosemary, cinnamon, pumpkin seeds, basil, raw turbinado sugar, peppermint, Yamabuki miso, Lifeway plain kefir, beans, pomelo/grapefruit, red cabbage, broccoli stems, tomato, brussels sprouts, almonds, blueberries, strawberries (Do NOT buy strawberries unless they are organic or from the recommended stores.  See the “Dirty Dozen” section in the Anti-Aging heading.)

3.    CAUTIONS:

A.   Ease into Drinking Smoothies, especially if you do not daily eat raw food.  It is not wise for chronically ill people to tackle more than one area of concern at a time.  You can slowly add another area every two months, as long as you feel well and not overwhelmed.  THE MORE ILL WE ARE THE SLOWER WE MUST BEGIN TO HEAL, because we could detox too fast and make ourselves feel sicker.  It is the combination of so many super foods all at once going into the body possibly for the first time that could detox us too fast – giving us unpleasant flu-like cleansing symptoms.  Unpleasant cleansing symptoms are the body saying, “Oh, fantastic!  Now I can upgrade the energy in my cells and get rid of some of this toxin I have been carrying around for years.”  But if the liver is already toxic, the toxins cannot be taken there for removal.  Thus the toxins circulate looking for a fatty area or past trauma to dump the liberated toxins into = no progress.  If your illness is acute/immediate, see a medical doctor.  Top quality herbs and raw food do an exemplary job of providing the raw materials that the body needs to heal itself - but herbs, and particularly food - take time. 

B.   Some Raw Food Has a CAUTION. Choose Carefully!  CHECK THIS LIST BEFORE ADDING RAW FOOD TO YOUR SMOOTHIE!

i.      DIABETIC OR HYPOGLYCEMIC?  Only use veggies - NO honey, pomegranate juice or Pomegranate Power, apples, Acai Power, carrots, corn or berries.  Instead use Nutritional flakes, nuts and seeds, which add a good nutty taste and great protein.  Camu Power is not sweet, but your pancreas should be QRA tested first to see if you can use Camu Power.

ii.     STOMACH ISSUES OR CONSTIPATION?  Do not add cocoa or walnuts.

iii.    KIDNEY STONES?  Do not add asparagus.

iv.   HIGH IRON IN THE BLOOD?  Use one and a half times as much unhulled WHITE sesame seeds instead of black sesame seeds.  And stop eating ALL white flour products, which have added inorganic iron.  That means the ingredient label MUST SAY 100% whole grain or 100% whole wheat.

v.     BLOOD THINNERS?  Do not eat cruciferous vegetablesCheck with your health care practitioner and the list below.  A thorough listing of cruciferous vegetables is very long.  See the next paragraph for a partial list.

vi.   LOW THYROID?  Although cruciferous vegetables are among the most nutritious of all foods - the highest being kale - and are listed as anti-cancer veggies, RAW cruciferous vegetables can inhibit thyroid function.  Raw kale makes a great salad (See Cook heading), but most cruciferous vegetables are best lightly cooked anyway (See Cook heading). Cruciferous vegetables include:  kale, collard greens, broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprout, cauliflower, mustard, turnip, bok choy, arugula, watercress, radish, rutabaga, rapeseed, daikon, kohlrabi, wasabi, rapini, tatsoi, komatsuna and mizuna.

vii.  CAMU POWER:  Do NOT put more than ¼ teaspoon in a smoothie.  It is very bitter!  Mix Camu Power in a tablespoon or two of water or juice, and chug it separately.

viii. GARLIC, BEETS AND EGG PLANT:  Do NOT put in a smoothie.  They have a very overpowering flavor.  Blended garlic does not leave garlic breath.  Sprinkle minced garlic on the foods you eat, then swallow a parsley capsule - and you will not have garlic breath.

ix.   WHITE ASPARAGUS STEMS, BROCCOLI STEMS AND OKRA:  Do NOT put in a smoothie.  They are very woody, and do not make a smooth smoothie. The woody and hairy parts can be felt in the smoothie.  The tops of the asparagus are fine, but throw away the white and green parts after the last easy break of the stem.  Broccoli stems are great to eat as a snack.  Peal the skin off with a paring knife.  Quarter the stem lengthwise, and eat like fresh carrots and celery on a veggie plate.

x.     MUSHROOMS, TOMATOES AND CARROTS are best digested when lightly cooked (See Cook heading).  Wood Ear is good thin sliced raw and added to a homemade salad or soup.  Saute/steam mushrooms on high for two or three minutes in coconut oil, butter or olive oil.  Then pour them over veggies or meat. 

xi.   FAVA BEANS must be soaked over night to soften before blended in a smoothie.

xii.  AVOCADO makes smoothies and raw deserts smooth and THICK, so beware of thickening your smoothie with too much avocado.  Just a couple of teaspoons of avocado significantly thickens a smoothie.

xiii. CITRUS FRUIT:  Scraping just the color off of the peal of citrus fruits like lime make it less bitter, but keep all of the white part of the peal, which is loaded with bioflavonoids.  You may want to remove the seeds also, because they too are very bitter.

xiv.WAKAME, GOJI BERRIES AND OTHER DRIED ITEMS:  Soak wakame for a few minutes first to soften before adding to a smoothie.  Wakame is a strong flavor so build up or add slowly.  In a Chinese market wakame is usually on the international foods aisle, because wakame is not Chinese seaweed.  It is Japanese seaweed.  Wakame is also excellent softened and added to salad or egg drop or miso soup. Add miso after the soup is in your bowl and warm enough to eat so the probiotics are not killed.  Only Dragon Herbs has goji berries that you will love to eat as a snack.  If you buy goji berries at Navitas, I suggest you soak them for ten to twenty minutes first to soften them for blending in the smoothie.

xv.  POWDERED GREENS AND MACA POWDER:  I have tested several brands of powdered greens and maca powder that tested toxic.  Stick with Navitas brand maca.  Beware of powdered greens that taste bitter.  Some green leafy plants like kale are bitter by nature, in fact they are called bitter greens.  But grasses are sweet.  If grasses taste bitter, bitter greens have been added OR they have been pesticide-sprayed or are simply poorly grown.  PRL's Greens no longer taste so sweet because they are 1/2 greens and 1/2 sea vegetables which have lots of vitamins and minerals, but are not sweet.

xvi. A TEASPOON OF POM BRAND POMEGRANATE JUICE holds the body much stronger than other brands.  If you buy pomegranate mixtures or other brands of pomegranate juice, you will need to add 20 times as much – no kidding!  I have QRA tested this with a number of other brands and blends.

xvii.  COD LIVER OIL or FISH OIL:  Omega 3s are desperately needed by the body for the brain, heart and each and every cell's wall.  I only recommend Nordic Natural brand and Costco's orange label Fish Oil, because they are high quality and third party tested for PCBs, heavy metals and dioxins.  Yes, I have heard that cod liver oil can become a problem for the prostate, but I never found Costco's fish oil or Nordic Naturals cod liver oil to be a problem for any client of mine.  This may simply be a problem with bad cod liver oil.  Or perhaps that body doesn't want all that Vitamin D and E in cod liver oil, but not fish oil.  Almost all of my clients tested to prefer fish oil rather than cod liver oil.  Transfats and/or hydrogenated oil are in many processed foods.  Vegetable forms of Omega 3, like in flax seed and raw nuts process into arachnidonic acid in the presence of transfats and/or hydrogenated oil, which can remain in the body for as long as a year.  Arachnidonic acid can intensify inflammation.

4.    If You Have Had Metal Amalgams in Your Mouth for several years, including root canals, or if your teeth are in very bad shape, a smoothie will not help you much because of continuously leaking, very acidic toxins.  See a holistic dentist.  Choose one that uses a laser to anti-infect instead of hydrogen peroxide and also tests dental materials compatibility with your body.

5.    PROCEDURE TO MAKE YOUR PERSONALIZED RAW FOOD SMOOTHIE

A.   Blender:  Even if you decide to use only super food powders, you may need a coffee grinder or Magic Bullet for sesame seeds.  If you will be making smoothies from raw fresh food, you will need a two or three horsepower blender from Blendtex or Vitamix.  But I do have clients that use a Magic Bullet for their raw green veggie smoothies.

B.   When Using Raw Fresh Food, Instead of Powdered Super Foods, add a half to one cup of ice and a half to one cup of water into the blender - or to desired consistency.

C.   SweetenerBelow are the necessities – the ‘you must haves’ in your smoothie.  You will need to add whatever fruit (or nuts, Brewer’s yeast or nutritional yeast if diabetic) that you need or like to make the smoothie tasty.  Nutritional yeast adds a great nutty taste and B vitamins, which are desperately needed by smokers and those who drink alcohol.  Nutritional yeast is not even remotely related to Candida fungal/yeast overgrowth in the gut or systemic yeast.  If diabetes or hypoglycemia is not an issue, try RAW turbinado sugar, RAW honey, agave or maple syrup as a sweetener.  Apples – I prefer Fuji - are also an excellent choice, because they contains a little bit of most vitamins.  Hence, the old saying “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”.  Apple seeds should be removed and not ingested. 

 

The smoothie information presented on this page is to guide individuals to eat and drink foods that can help their bodies attain a better state of health.  The names of conditions are presented here to guide the lay person to the foods which will provide the nutrients that his body may be craving the most.  Many of these foods are so beneficial that they can detox a chronically ill person very quickly – which causes cleansing and flu-like symptoms.  Chronically ill individuals are HIGHLY CAUTIONED to build up very, very slowly on these smoothies.  The information provided on this website is for informational purposes only and is not intended for use as diagnosis, prevention or treatment of a health problem or as a substitute for consulting a licensed medical professional.  References to any entity, product, service, person or source of information on this website should not be considered an endorsement, either direct or implied, by the presenter of this website.  The presenter of this website is not responsible for the content of any web pages referenced in this website.

 

7.  SAMPLE STARTER SMOOTHIE:  Bare bones, but wholly sufficient. 

     A.  Build up slowly (see#8) to two teaspoons of powdered greens.

     B.  Build up slowly to 20 cilantro stems and leaves.

      C.  Build up slowly to one teaspoon of organic powdered turmeric on the spice aisle.

      D.  A good starter choice is the Intestinal paragraph.  An over 100-year-old naturopathic saying that is

           still true today is:  Death begins in the colon.

           i.  Two tablespoons of Lifeway Kefir.

           ii. In three months build up slowly to a teaspoon of Pomegranate Power - not for diabetics.

      E.  Something for taste:  half an apple if you are not diabetic, other fruit, turbinado sugar, honey or

          maple syrup.  If diabetic use nuts, preferably walnuts or pine nuts for their good oils for your skin

          inside and out or Brewer's Yeast = not at all related to Candida Yeast.

      F.  There are many other things you can slowly add, but be cautious.  If you feel ill that evening or the

           next day, you are detoxing too fast.  Slow way down!  Some suggestions:

           i.  Kale for vitality.

           ii. Asparagus to assist the liver with detoxification.  The more anti-infective you add, like turmeric, the

               more you will detox = move dead bacteria and virus, etc. through your liver, kidneys, intestines

               and out of your body.  Detox generally yields mild to severe flu-like symptoms.

           iii. Spinach for iron = red blood cells, oxygen, raise pH and also B vitamins for detoxification. 

8.  FOR ALL SMOOTHIES START WITH THE BASICS:

A.   Raw Greens to Upgrade the Detox Organs:

i.         1/4 TEASPOON OF PRL POWDERED GREENS.  And build up to up to two teaspoons by adding 1/4 teaspoon every six days.

                OR A MEDIUM-SIZED KALE LEAF and build slowly to two large leaves over a period of two months. Kale is the most nutritious of all vegetables (and fruit) and the best food for the eyes and adrenals.

       OR A CUP OR SMALL HANDFUL OF BABY KALE, SPINACH AND CHARD MIXTURE and build slowly to three cups over a period of two months.

           OR TWO STALKS OF ASPARAGUS and build slowly to six stalks over a period of two months.  Asparagus is the food with the most glutathione, which assists with liver detoxification.

               OR ONE TEASPOON OF DRIED RAW WAKAME and build slowly to three level teaspoons over a period of two months.  Find in Oriental markets on international aisle.  Wakame is Japanese seaweed and tastes great soaked in water and added to salad or soup.

OR ONE SQUARE INCH OF KELP and build slowly to four square inches over a period of two months.

ii.        AND:  FOUR CILANTRO STEMS AND LEAVES and build slowly to 20 over a period of two months.  Cilantro helps the body remove metals from the brain.  The body stores toxins, including metals in fat, because storing toxins in bones makes bones brittle and storing toxins in muscles makes muscles sore.  Therefore, the body prefers to store toxins in fat.  The shiny metals - aluminum and mercury - are often stored in the brain because the brain is 60% fat.

OR 8 MULBERRIES and build slowly to 40 over a period of two months.  Mulberries are a slightly sweet, slightly crunchy snack and are great mixed with pine nuts or walnutsMulberries in particular are supercharged with resveritrol, which upgrades other anti-oxidants.  Blueberries incidentally contain more resveritrol than mulberries, yet mulberries QRA test to be a much preferred anti-oxidant than blueberries.  Mulberries are more concentrated than blueberries and more seed like.  Red grape seeds also contain resveritrol, but grapes are the most highly pesticide sprayed food of all - a very dangerous choice, even organic.  Stick with Costco, Sprouts and Whole Foods.

B.   Anti-Infective: 

i.          1/8 TEASPOON OF POWDERED ORGANIC TURMERIC from the spice aisle, and build up 1/8 teaspoon no more than once every five days up to one teaspoon per day over about three months.  Organic turmeric is very, very powerful and is very capable of detoxing you faster than comfortable, giving you unpleasant flu-like cleansing symptoms.  If you experience flu-like symptoms, build up 1/8 teaspoon every week.

OR 1/8  TEASPOON OF POMEGRANATE POWER per day.  Build slowly to two teaspoon over a period of three months - not for diabetics.

9.    AREAS OF CONCERN/CONTENTS OF SMOOTHIE – Choose one area to start with.  You can slowly add an additional area every two to three months as tolerated: 

A.   ADD, Autism And Learning Challenges:  See Brain Fog below.  Then add Liver paragraph in a couple of months.

B.   Allergies:  See Liver paragraph below.

C.   Alzheimer’s:  See Brain Fog below.  Then add Liver paragraph in a couple of months.

D.   Arterial Plaque:  See Heart paragraph below.

E.    Asthma: See Liver paragraph below.

F.    Bladder Issues:  See Intestine paragraph below.  BLADDER PROBLEMS ARE USUALLY EITHER systemic Candida leaking from the intestines or a bacterial infection that originated elsewhere which has been moved by the body from the infected site to the liver, then to the kidneys, then to the bladder in an attempt to remove the problem from the body.  But infection often makes a home in the bladder because the bladder and the gallbladder tend to be more acidic than other areas of the body.

G.   Blood Pressure:  See Heart paragraph below.

H.   Bone Density:

i.      IF YOU DID NOT CHOOSE KELP in the Basics above, ADD 1/2 TEASPOON OF BLACK SESAME SEEDS and build slowly to three teaspoons over a period of three months.  Black sesame seeds are found in Oriental markets or Whole Foods.  Black sesame seeds have been shown to build bone at least 5% per year.

OR ONE SQUARE INCH OF KELP if not chosen in the Basics above.  Build slowly to four square inches over a period of three months.  Kelp QRA tests to be as effective as black sesame seeds to build bone, but kelp is not as anti-infective as black sesame seeds.  Infected bone must heal before we can build bone (See site’s Bone heading).  Raw green leafy veggies have all the calcium we need to build bone.

ii.     ALSO ADD ¼ TEASPOON OR ONE CAPSULE OF NORDIC NATURALS COD LIVER OIL or one capsule a day of Costco's brand orange label only 1000 mg. Fish Oil soft gels to effect an oil change in your body.  The body feeds the bones last after organs, muscles, connective tissue and skin, so extra fish oil is needed.  Women should add another ¼ teaspoon (Or build to one large Costco capsule every day.) over two months.  If your skin is dry, build up to one a day for as long as a year.  Then drop down to three capsules a week after your skin normalizes.  1/4 teaspoon is equivalent to the most common size of capsule.  We can chug the cod liver oil separately in a small amount of orange juice, which most children tolerate well.  Believe it or not, I have QRA tested Costco fish oil against Nordic Naturals Omega 3 oil many times on clients.  The human body overwhelmingly wants fish oil in its not messed with form - just fish oil, not extracted Omega 3 oils. 

iii.    BLACK SESAME, KELP AND GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES are the foods with the most calcium, magnesium and trace minerals.  You will be able to gauge how many teaspoons of black sesame, kelp or green leafy vegetables you need by the amount that it takes to move and keep your first morning urine pH between 6.2 and 7.0.  Take your pH in the morning before eating or drinking anything (See site’s Bone heading for pH self test.)

I.     Brain Fog/Memory

i.      IF YOU DID NOT CHOOSE MULBERRIES OR POMEGRANATE POWER IN THE BASICS ABOVE, ADD ONE TEASPOON OF POM 100% POMEGRANATE JUICE, which delivers sufficient antioxidants for the average healthy person.  Build slowly up to two tablespoons over the next two months.  The brain needs a lot of antioxidants, which we can get from POM pomegranate juice, Camu Power, mulberries or ½ teaspoon of Cacao Nibs from Navitas (which can be constipating) and build slowly to two teaspoons over the next two months. 

ii.     THE AMOUNT OF ANTIOXIDANTS in our food has dropped 50% in the last twenty five years.  Antioxidants are used all over the body, but particularly by the brain, heart and eyes. A lack of antioxidants encourages neurodegeneration.  Foods high in antioxidants are red, blue and purple, but these foods are often highly pesticide sprayed - buy organic or at Costco, Sprouts or Whole Foods.

iii.  One capsule per day of Kirkland CoQ10 300 mg. soft gels from Costco.  The brain is the second biggest user of CoQ10.    

iv.    IF YOU DID NOT ADD COD LIVER OIL FOR BONE HEALTH, ADD ¼ TEASPOON OR ONE SMALL CAPSULE OF NORDIC NATURALS COD LIVER OIL HIGH IN DHA.  Women should add another ¼ teaspoon (Or build to one large Costco capsule every day.) after two months.  We can chug liquid cod liver oil separately in a small amount of orange juice, OR take a capsule. 

a.     Since the brain is also a big user of Omega 3s, I recommend taking cod liver oil or fish oil because vegetable forms of Omega 3s will not ultimately provide Omega 3s to those who eat hydrogenated oils.  Hydrogenated oils include any heated Omega 6 oil, which is any oil except olive and coconut oil.  Carry your fish oil with you and take it when you eat out.  Vegetable forms of Omega 3 convert to arachidonic acid in the presence of transfats.  Arachidonic acid promotes inflammation.

b.    Walnuts are the king of nuts for Omega 3s.  Pine nuts are the seed with the most Omega 3.  Keep all shelled nuts in the refrigerator.  We can add a couple of walnut halves (can be constipating) in a smoothie to give it a nice nutty flavor.  Build up slowly to six halves over the next two months.  Flax seeds or flax seed oil is not a good choice because it is a vegetable form of Omega 3s. (See Oils heading).

v.   ALSO ADD ONE BRAZIL NUT for the 137% daily serving of serotonin it provides.  Brazil nuts are the food with the most serotonin.  However, shelled Brazil nuts only stay good in the refrigerator for two to possibly three weeks.  Buy these in a store that moves Brazil nuts off the shelf quickly - like Sprouts and Whole Foods.  For other foods with serotonin and Brazil nut caution see this site’s Anti-Aging heading.

vi.    ALSO ADD 1/2 TEASPOON OF COCONUT OIL for ketones that the brain can use as fuel instead of glucose (See this site’s Brain heading).  Build slowly up to a tablespoon over the next two months.  PRL has an excellent coconut oil.  Coconut oil should smell and taste like fresh coconut - not like oil.

vii.  ALSO ADD THREE ELDERBERRIES and build slowly to twelve over a period of two months.  Dried elderberries are in the spice aisle.

viii. ALSO ADD FIVE FRESH OR FROZEN CRANBERRIES and build slowly to 15 cranberries over a period of two months. 

ix. OPTIONAL:  ONE FAVA BEAN, and build slowly to six over a period of two months.  Fava beans are a good source of dopamine that energizes the brain.  Soak the Fava beans overnight before adding to the Vitamix or Blendtex.

J.     Breast Lumps:

i.      BREAST LUMPS CAN BE AN ACUTE/IMMEDIATE PROBLEM.  Get checked out by an M.D.

ii.     STOP WEARING AN UNDER WIRE BRA.  Plastic is okay, but metal blocks toxin drainage.

iii.    IF YOU DID NOT CHOOSE TUMERIC IN THE BASICS ABOVE, ADD  powdered organic turmeric, strictly following the building guidelines above in the BASICS, 7.A. above.

K.  Breathing Problems:  See Liver paragraph below.  The lungs are a minor detox organ, so they receive overflow from congested liver and intestines (See site’s Breathe heading above for more info). 

L.    Bronchitis:  See Liver paragraph below.

M.   Cholesterol:  See Heart paragraph below.

N.   Circulation:  See Heart paragraph below.  Poor circulation is often also a build up of toxins.  See mudpacking in site’s Anti-Aging heading.

O.  COPD, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease:  See Liver paragraph below.

P.   Depression:  See Brain Fog paragraph above.

Q.   Diabetes:  See Heart paragraph below.

R.   Emphysema:  See Liver paragraph below.

S.    Eyes:  See Brain Fog paragraph above.  Recurring eye and hearing problems often QRA test to be accumulated toxins or interference fields reflecting from infected teeth.  See a holistic dentist.

T.   Fatigue/Adrenals: 

i.      FATIGUE CAN BE AN INDICATION THAT the adrenals have been trying to rid the body of often two or more infections that are usually based in the intestines or the liver.  Start with the Liver paragraph below, and slowly add the intestines paragraph after two to three months.

ii.     BE SURE THAT YOU ARE EATING SUFFICIENT red meat.  Clients have reported sleeping less and having more energy with the addition of 1/2 pound of iron-filed meat: shellfish, beef, pork or lamb) meals per week.  (See the Protein paragraph in the Anti-Aging heading).

iii.    ADD FIVE GOJI BERRIES and build slowly to 20 per day over a period of two months.

iv.   IF MULBERRIES WERE NOT ADDED AS A BASIC ABOVE, ADD 10 MULBERRIES and build slowly to 40 daily over a period of two months. 

v.     IF POWDERED GREENS WAS NOT ADDED AS A BASIC ABOVE, ADD 1/4 TEASPOON OF PRL QUALITY POWDERED GREENS and build slowly to two teaspoons over a period of two months.

U.   Frail/Muscle ToneSee the Intestinal paragraph below.

i.      IF OVER 40, your intestines may be having difficulty absorbing many of the nutrients you are eating (See this site’s Digestive heading).

ii.     PROTEIN BUILDS and repairs muscle.  Be sure you are getting sufficient animal protein. (See the Protein paragraph in this site’s Anti-Aging heading or Topic 2 in the Healing Program).

iii.    IF YOU DID NOT CHOOSE KALE IN THE BASICS ABOVE, ADD A MEDIUM-SIZED KALE LEAF and build slowly to two large leaves daily over a period of two months.  Kale is the most nutritious of all the fruits and vegetables.

iv.   IF YOUR BODY NO LONGER DIGESTS ANIMAL PROTEIN WELL, ADD FIVE GOJI BERRIES and build to 20 daily over a period of two months.  Dragon Herbs goji berries are delicious as a snack.  Goji berries are mostly protein, however, diabetics would need to be QRA tested to see if they can eat them.

V.  Gum Disease:  See Heart paragraph below.

W.   Headaches, Recurring:  See Intestine paragraph below.  (Also see site’s Migraine section in the Brain heading).

X.    Heart:

i.      IF YOU DID NOT ADD FISH OIL FOR BONE OR BRAIN HEALTH, ADD ¼ TEASPOON OR ONE SMALL CAPSULE OF NORDIC NATURALS COD LIVER OIL high in EPA or add one of Costco's orange label Fish Oil three times a week and build to one daily.  The brain prefers DHA, but the heart prefers EPA.  Women should add another ¼ teaspoon in two months.

ii.     SOME INDIVIDUALS MAY NEED both Pomegranate Power and Turmeric in the Basics – or if diabetic, slowly add more turmeric, kale, black sesame, wakame, kelp, asparagus or five goji berries and build to 20 daily over a period of two months.  Dragon Herbs goji berries are delicious as a snack.  Goji berries are mostly protein, however, diabetics would need to be QRA tested to see if they can eat them.

iii.    DIABETICS OR HYPOGLYCEMIA:  START WITH A HALF INCH SLICE OF BITTER MELON and build to three inches daily over two months.  Find in Oriental markets.

OR two of the red stems of chard and slowly build to five stems daily over two months.  Chard’s green leaves are full of B vitamins for the liver and adrenals.  Chard's red stems and bitter melon contain insulin like substances.  You can substitute the green leaves on your red stems for greens in the Basics above.

iv.   ONE TEASPOON OF POM POMEGRANATE JUICE, (not for diabetics) and build slowly to two tablespoons daily over the next two months.  Pomegranate juice has been statistically proven to lower arterial plaque 30% each year.  Studies have shown a 20% drop in blood pressure for each year that pomegranate juice is used DAILY.

v.  One capsule per day of Kirkland CoQ10 300 mg. soft gels from Costco.  The heart is the biggest user of CoQ10 as energy for repair, and the pancreas is the 3rd biggest user of CoQ10.  If you are diabetic, start with three capsules per week every other day and build up to five of these CoQ10 per day.    

vi.  OPTIONAL:  cayenne pepper as tolerated.

Y.   Herpes and Other Viruses:  If you did not add elderberries and cranberries in the Brain paragraph above:

      i.  ADD THREE ELDERBERRIES and slowly build to twelve daily over a period of two months.  Dried

          elderberries are in the spice aisle.

      ii. AND FIVE FRESH OR FROZED CRANBERRIES and build slowly to 15 daily over a period of two

          months.

Z.  Hormonal Issues:  See Intestines below.

AA.  Immune System:

i.      IMMUNE SYSTEM PROBLEMS CAN BE AN ACUTE PROBLEM.  See your M.D.

ii.     IF YOU DID NOT CHOOSE TUMERIC IN THE BASICS ABOVE OR IN BREAST LUMPS, ADD TURMERIC.

     Strictly follow the instructions for organic powdered turmeric in the Basics above.

BB.  Intestines:

i.         ADD ONE TO TWO TABLESPOONS OF PLAIN LIFEWAY KEFIR - whole milk with no fruit added.  Believe it or not the QRA tested objection to the kefir with fruit is not the fruit, it is the low fat milk.  Every body I have tested so far simply wants more fat in their diet.  The easiest thing for us to remember is "eat food like God gave it to us".  Our bodies can have a problem with "manmade"/or processed food.

OR ½ TEASPOON OF MISO.  I have tested the miso at Whole Foods.  I know it is nontoxic.  The soy we eat should ALWAYS be fermented, as in miso, which can over time help to ease menopausal difficulties.  Heating product with live probiotics, like miso, higher than you can hold your hand in destroys the probiotics, which is the whole point of eating miso.

ii.        SOME INDIVIDUALS MAY need both Pomegranate Power and Turmeric in the Basics – or if diabetic, slowly add more turmeric over a period of three months.  Pomegranate Power is most needed by the heart and the female reproductive system.

iii.       INTESTINAL PROBLEMS WOULD BEST BE QRA TESTED for amount and duration of product needed.

CC.Kidney/Low Back Pain:  Put your hands on your hips.  Note the point where the tips of your thumbs are.  That  is the QRA testing point for the kidneys.  If pressing on the testing point of the kidneys is painful, your kidneys would like some help - either fluid or product.

i.         IF YOUR KIDNEYS HURT without being pressed on, this could be an acute problem.  See your M.D.  Kidney pain is nothing to put off.

ii.        THE KIDNEYS ARE JUST AS MUCH ASSOCIATED WITH heart, pancreas, prostate and gum disease as they are with overflow from congested liver and/or intestines (See the site’s Kidney heading).  This is a tough call without QRA testing.  Use your intuition and your knowledge of your body. See the Heart paragraph and the Liver OR the Intestines paragraph.  Do not add more than one paragraph every two to three months.  The sicker  you are the slower you add or build up.

iii.       THE BODY USUALLY DETOXES METAL through the kidneys.  If you have ever had metal in your mouth and/or if you have ever lived in a smoggy area and you did not choose cilantro above, add SIX CELANTRO STEMS AND LEAVES and build slowly to 20 over a period of two months.

iv.       YOU MIGHT ALSO CONSIDER changing your liquid refreshment to green tea and/or ginseng tea.  Ginseng has a strong affinity to the kidneys, and green tea helps to move metal out of the body. Republic of Tea has a Honey Ginseng tea, but it is quite zingy.  I sometimes put one teabag in with one tablespoon of jasmine green tea for a whole pitcher.  The best tasting green tea is Jasmine Jazz from Republic of Tea, but it is pricy - about $2 for a large pitcher of iced tea.  Second best, in my opinion is Reishi jasmine green tea available in a one pound at Whole Foods for about 1/3 the Republic of Tea price.

v.        OPTIONAL:  ADD A 1/16 INCH SLICE OF GINSENG to your smoothie if you can handle it.  Build slowly to 1/4 inch slice over the next three months.

vi.      IF MULBERRIES WERE NOT ADDED AS A BASIC ABOVE, ADD 10 MULBERRIES and build slowly to 40 over a period of three months.  Resveratrol, abundant in mulberries, upgrades other anti-oxidants.  Add them as a common snack.  They are crunchy good, especially with nuts.  Navitas products are in Sprouts and Whole Foods.

vii.     OPTIONAL:  THE BEST FOOD FOR THE KIDNEYS are kidney beans and pinto beans.  To get the most nutrient out of beans slow cook them below 180 degrees for several hours (See site’s Cook heading). You will need to do this several times a week, which could get very boring OR you can grind them in a coffee grinder, but do not put the grounds into a smoothie or they will make it very thick.  Put them into a small amount of water or juice and drink immediately.  Follow with a liquid that you like.  Start with ½ teaspoon per day of ground beans and build slowly over two to three months to 2 teaspoons daily.  Keep enough ground for less than a week in the refrigerator.  Food goes bad after Mother Nature's seal is broken.  Mother Nature's seal is the skin or outside of the food.

DD.   Liver:

i.         IF YOU DID NOT CHOOSE ASPARAGUS IN THE BASICS ABOVE, ADD TWO STALKS OF ASPARAGUS and build slowly to six stalks over a period of two months.  Asparagus is the food with the most glutathione, which assists with liver detoxification.

ii.        SOME INDIVIDUALS MAY NEED BOTH Pomegranate Power and turmeric in the Basics – or if diabetic, slowly add another teaspoon of turmeric over a period of three months.  Always build up on anti-infectives very slowly or you could detox too fast and feel quite ill.

iii.       ADD 1/8 TEASPOON OF CAMU POWER and build slowly over a period of two months to ½ teaspoon.  Camu contains very high amounts of Vitamin C.

iv.      OPTIONAL:  IF MULBERRIES WERE NOT ADDED AS A BASIC ABOVE, ADD TEN MULBERRIES and build to 40 over a period of two months.

v.        LIVER PROBLEMS SHOULD BE QRA TESTED for amount and duration of product needed. 

EE.Lymphatics, Swollen Ankles and Feet or Lumps Under the Arms at the sides of the breasts: 

i.      See Heart paragraph above.

ii.     THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM IS A PART OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM.  This could be an acute problem.  See your M.D.

iii.    THE MAIN REASON FOR SWOLLEN FEET or ankles is usually an overload of toxins - but can be an indication of tired, needy kidneys.  When we move the body, toxins move out of organs.  If our detox organs are already full of toxins, these moving toxins will go to the feet - or worse yet get put into a fatty area for lack of anywhere else to put them.  If we are not too ill to keep moving more, the body will push toxins out of the detox organs and down to the feet.  Then the body will move toxins in the feet to the liver for removal - so a never ending cycle is formed.  See the site’s Mudpack Yourself section in the Anti-Aging heading.

iv.   THE BEST THING TO MOVE LYMPH, for example with swollen ankles and feet, is with mudpacks or strength exercises or (See site’s Anti-Aging and Immune headings).  HOWEVER, IF YOU DO NOT FEEL ENERGIZED AFTER EXERCISE, YOU ARE BEATING A TIRED HORSE – YOUR ADRENALS (See site’s Fatigue heading).  Build your body up with raw food smoothies, read Topics 1 - 6 on the Free QRA Naturopathic Healing Program heading. LL.Skin Problems:

i.      THE SKIN IS A MINOR DETOX ORGAN, so it receive overflow from congested liver and intestines.  Add the Intestine paragraph above.

ii.     ALSO ADD ¼ teaspoon or one capsule of Nordic Naturals cod liver oil or Costco's orange label fish oil to effect an oil change in your body - if you did not add cod liver oil already as in the Bone paragraph.  Do not put cod liver oil in your smoothie.  Yuck!  Women should add another ¼ teaspoon after two months.  Chug the liquid cod liver oil separately in a small amount of orange juice, OR you can take a capsule.  The wall of every cell in our  bodies is made of oils - the skin inside and out.  The type of oils depends upon the type of oils we provide.

MM.  Stomach:

i.      ADD 1/8 CUP OF PLAIN LIFEWAY KEFIR – whole milk with no fruit added - and build slowly to ¼ cup in a month. 

OR ADD ONE TEASPOON THREE TIMES A DAY OF A SUPERIOR QUALITY ALOE VERA, like PRL’s Alo Pro for two months.  PRL’s Alo Pro has very little taste.

OR ADD 1/8 INCH SLICE OF GINGER and build slowly to 1/4 slice over two months.

OR YOU CAN EAT A LITTLE FERMENTED FOOD (like Kim-Chi by Rejuvenative Foods - on the internet) with each meal.

ii.    STOMACH PROBLEMS OFTEN ORIGINATE in the intestines, so add Intestine paragraph above.

NN.Thyroid:

i.      IF YOU DID NOT CHOOSE CILANTRO ABOVE, ADD SIX CILANTRO STEMS AND LEAVES and build slowly to 20 over a period of two months.  Add Intestine paragraph.  And after three months add the Liver paragraph.  Infections in the teeth commonly drain down into the thyroid.

OO.Uterus: 

i.      UTERUS PROBLEMS ARE usually from leakage of problems in the intestines, so add the Intestine paragraph above.

ii.     IF NOT ADDED IN MENOPAUSE PARAGRAPH ABOVE, ADD ¼ TEASPOON MACA POWER from Navitas and build slowly to a teaspoon over a period of two months.

PP.Weight:

i.      ACAI POWER QRA tests to reduce belly fat.  I haven’t seen it happen yet with any of my clients though.

ii.     ONE LEMON blended with a garlic clove and a cup of water also QRA tests to reduce fat.  But be very careful about ingesting that much lemon so quickly, especially if you have any intestine problems.  Build up slowly.  I haven’t seen this work yet either.

iv.   EATING CARBS ONLY IN THE EVENING also QRA tests to help lose weight.  But I haven’t seen this work yet either.

v.     THE TRUTH IS, a body full of toxins and/or parasites - whose excrement is toxic - will hold desperately to fat to have somewhere to store the toxins (See site’s Anti-Aging and Digestive headings).
